The St. Albert Gymnastics Club offers women's pre-competitive and provincial level competitive training. The program is designed for those gymnasts who have demonstrated gymnastic proficiency as well as other qualities which may include determination, flexibility and competitive spirit. Entrance to the competitive program is by invitation only from the Competitive Head Coach.
The Competitive Gymnastics program at St. Albert Gymnastics Club has a history of excellence. Past achievements include numerous provincial championship titles in Provincial Levels 2, 3 and 4.
Program Structure
The Competitive Program is comprised of separate streams, primarily based on ability. Gymnasts only advance when they feel comfortable enough to move to the next level and have acquired their coach's recommendation. The higher the level, the more training hours, intensity, and commitment required.
The program structure follows the Women's Canadian Provincial Competitive Program.

The training is geared toward selection to provincial stream, although not all gymnasts may be chosen to advance. Gymnasts at this level train between 6 and 9 hours per week, and are typically from 5 to 9 years of age.
